DTC Minutes of Planning Committee Meeting - 13th December 2016

Minutes of the Planning Committee meetingheld on Tuesday 13th December 2016 at 10.00am, in the Council Office, Lady Street, Dulverton.

Present: Chairman: Mr Gerry Lewis, Cllrs: Mrs Louise Parrish, Mrs Margaret Rawle.

Planning Applications:

6/42/16/107 Proposed Change of use from agricultural/forestry land to domestic curtilage to

facilitate siting of domestic wood store together with flue to outbuilding to house wood burning boiler. Retrospective. (Amended description) (FULL)

Tarr Steps House, Tarr Steps Estate, Hawkridge, Dulverton, Somerset.

Observations: No objections, however members would appreciate that the changes are highlighted with regards amended planning applications.

Final Approvals:

6/916/126 Proposed advert consent for the erection of 4 signs. As per amended plans 21/11/16 (Advert) (CONDITIONAL)

Co-op, 17-19 Fore Street, Dulverton, Somerset.

6/9/16/128 Proposed replacement of existing conservatory with garden room. (HOUSEHOLDER)

Stockham Farm, Dulverton, Somerset. (CONDITIONAL)

6/9/16/127 Proposed replacement frames and roof of conservatory onto the existing base together with the creation of a new dormer roof to accommodate a new conservatory style roof. (HOUSEHOLDER)

I refer to the above application and confirm that the period of consultation has now expired.

E.N.P.A. has resolved not to object to your proposals and will therefore not be serving a Tree

Preservation Order.

W.S.C. /T.D.B.C. West Somerset Council call for potential development sites.

Members noted that the only possible site for development has recently been considered and rejected by W.S.C.

W.S.C. Notice of the adoption of the West Somerset Local Plan to 2032.


     Issues to be raised with permission of the Chairman:

Devon & Somerset Ambulance Service: Members were informed that money has been made available to create night landing sites. It was suggested that the Sports Field, which is lit at night time, could be considered.
