Minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on 16th July2012 in the Council Office, Lady Street, Dulverton, commencing at 10.00am.

Mid Devon Council  - Re: 12/00823/FULL - Erection of twenty 5KW wind turbines with a maximum height of 21 metres and associated works.

Buckhayes Farm, Cove, Devon

Having had sight of the proposals members voiced various concerns already raised by members of the public including the fact that the site proposed is located next to a bridalway.

Furthermore members consider that an impact assessment is required by law in this case.

It was generally considered that the considerable disfigurement of the landscape is not justified considering the small output anticipated.
