Dulverton & District Young People’s Project (DDYPP) is a registered charity. It is based in Dulverton at the Riverside Youth Centre, Kemps Way. DDYPP plans and delivers a wide range of youth services and positive activities within the community.  The geographical area is predominantly rural and has very limited facilities and services for the population of 6 – 19 year olds.

The youth club celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2013. We deliver sessions on four evenings each week. We have highly qualified youth workers whose main aim is to support teenage young people with their complex needs as well as providing a relaxed and safe environment for them to socialise. Two of our older members are now apprentices and run one evening for the 7 to 11 age group.

It is has come as a surprise that this centre has been providing 50 years of support to the youth of the local communities. During that time financial support has come over the years in many forms.

A welcome form of support in previous years has been provided by Somerset County Council but in this current economic environment with cost saving the norm it is unlikely funds will be available for the new year hence the need to raise funds by a more direct method.

Please take time to check out how this works by following this link
